Finally thinking about selling or trading this guitar. It was my favorite tele until I got myself a Masterbuilt, and now I won't play it enough to justify keeping it.
First thing's first: If you like big chunky necks, keep reading; if not, this guitar isn't for you. It's not the biggest neck I've ever played, but it's the most comfortable and best playing of all the big-neck teles I've had. It's a medium weight (most people would consider it lightweight, but my other 2 teles are a thinline and a Paulownia body, so they're real featherweights), the copper finish is really cool looking, and the custom shop Twisted Tele pickups are bright and punchy in the bridge and buttery and full in the neck.
I'm not the original owner of the guitar, and when I got it, the COA was already lost. HOWEVER, I got in touch with Fender when I started considering selling this one, and they sent me an official replacement COA, so it has that. The original ashtray bridge cover is in the case, and one of the case latches is busted, but it's never bothered me any.
The guitar is a "closet relic" and has the factory finish checking, and it sports some additional play wear from its previous owners. Nothing significant, but I've tried to take pics of all the relic spots and additional wear spots.
Looking for $1600 shipped (paypal fees on buyer's end, or use gift -- plenty of TGP references to go around). Price is firm, that's the giving-it-away price. No trades anymore, money only.
I guess those are all the details. Anything I left out, feel free to ask. Pics below!
