I got my Rockett III its an amazing guitar, I was not expecting such sizzle from the rod pole p90's They are bright and powerful, They do sound great but I will most likely swap them for a more traditional p90. I'm incredibly satisfied with the guitar.

Thanks so much for the kind words. I`m so glad you like it.

    Regular P90s will sound great.
If you can wait a couple of weeks I'm happy to send you a set of my P90s. If you have others in mind I'll send you the specs of what I use with that bridge pickup.

Thanks I will consider it, You kind of screwed me up by installing a tone knob that REALLY works well, The more I play it the more I dig it.

I really need one of these with a HB bridge and P neck. No middle! :)

@Black Squirrel congrats!! I found the middle and neck pickups to be really useful in adding to the fender side of the equation, at times the neck pickup sounding like a bigger Jazzmaster. While also retaining the ability to nail legit r&b and soul tones that p-90s do well (but occasionally mud out on). Give them some time..
    Such a great guitar, enjoy!!

The bridge + neck combination sounds really cool. Like a big fat Tele. You can achieve it with switching without sacrificing the middle (which sounds pretty bloody good on its own too) though...

I have a Meteor '59 on order. The Rocket '59 was so amazing that I placed another order for one of Damian's carved tops. Now to forget about it until it gets closer!

love it! Anyone here have experience with the 54 and 59s? My headache is that I love the 54, 59, III and the LSM, dunno what to get!! Is there any difference (apart from shape) in the 54 and 59s to the LSMs?
