If you go to my site (link at bottom) i have a bunch of tracks in the player. To turn the vid. off, drag cursor to bottom of vid screen, stop button will appear. Use the volume on the player, as it's set low to hear the video. There are jazz tracks at the top of the player...country, slide, shred, and some other stuff too.

    enjoy!

    amps used:
    Guytron F/V100
    Badger

Thanks for the great tunes Prof.

Just in case your just as serious as my 80's guitar teacher was when he asked 'who is Larry Carlton?'

Here's a 80' vintage vid with both of them on All Blues.

Thanks very much! Yup! Still down at U. of Miami's Frost School of Music. It's a great place to be! There's some acoustic slide stuff I did for a film that I need to add. I'll post when that's up and running.

    Cheers,

How's Randall doing? His wife was very sick when I talked to him last time. I'll still never forgive him for making me change my pick technique! :D

first off Martin, you're amplifiers are brilliant.. just great! Secondly, you're not going to believe this... but that's sound is Hendrix-Amplitube! I know that's sacrilege... especially for this list... I want to give it a shot in that particular track came out nicely

Still, I think that there is a latency issue in all the consumer-based guitar plug-ins. If you have ProTools HD... well then that's a different thing altogether! Who can afford that, but people who are doing very very well are independently wealthy! :)

As a matter of fact, I know some people that believe ProTools actually makes their LE version to kind of put the carrot in front of the donkey, the donkey being a consumer, in hopes that the consumer will desire to HD system. I know I know were only talking about ProTools there's logic and Ableton etc. and I don't want to steer this post in that direction.

So back to the plug-ins; for me I can't get the latency to be exactly right for the way I playe.. so unless I found a track that wanted a very laid-back feel :)... like that track you are talking about which has that sort of a few and I would definitely be on my boutique amplifiers (Dr. Z., and Suhr).

One thing I can tell you which might be of interest andis, the track "giant steps" was made with my hollow PRS ( picture on the site)plugged directly into m-audio interface and recorded directly on to a track in Live. No amplifier in no plug in! It goes to show you, you never know where a great tone is to come from. I'm of the ilk where even works, use it!

Now your amplifier...! What a special piece of gear that is........... :)
