    Hi everyone,

I play a LP Special into a Princeton Reverb and I'd like to add something for dirt. I'm not using any effects besides a Timefactor delay.

Although I'm not a big fan of U2 I love Dave Evans' sound. The tones I get from my gear are nothing like his, but I feel like the delay is bringing me close enough. Not ballpark-close, but I like how it sounds.
Sometimes I use my Bass BB preamp (I used to play bass in a band) for overdrive/distortion but that obviously doesn't sound as good as a pedal for guitar.

So I figured I might add a Tech21 Liverpool. Although often used with a DI I guess it should turn a clean amp like a PRRI into ballpark-Vox for cleans, and make a good dirtbox with the gain set high.

    Any opinions?

The Liverpool is THE specialist of Vox sounds, and it does that very well, IMHO.
No problem using it with your Princeton

The Menatone Top Boost In A Can is a great match with the princeton in case you wanted something else to compare.
