For my PRS tremolo build I can either go with a new part (ACC 4007) or get a NOS one piece tremolo (everything including the block is a single piece of metal). I don't know if they used brass parts in the NOS version vs the new one which does.

Which would you choose and why?

Has no-one ever tried to upgrade his PRS tremolo for one of the original one-piece bridges?

Can the string compensation be set on the one piece tremolo? If not I'd pass on that one.

Yes I have.....and it made a huge difference in tone(warmer) and sustain. The newer 2 piece trems are no slouch, but I was given a 1 piece NON unplated Mann-Made bridge as a gift. I used it in my DGT that PRS relic'd for me. It made a great guitar....insane! IMHO

Send Big Mike or JMintzer a pm here. They're mods over @ BAM and will get you hooked up.

I upgraded a standard 24 to a Mann. I think it was an improvement.
Not leaps and bounds better, but better. More sustain, little more something special.

And yeah PM me i'll get you sorted.

Todd kick phill in the shins next time you see him.
