PRS 408 Pickup Height?

Has anybody adjusted their 408 pickups away from the PRS standard/recommended heights?

I have a Brent Mason and I'm trying to get the neck single coil tone to sound a little more like a Strat. Maybe asking the impossible?

I think you're out of luck. The pickup should be adjusted to spec at the factory. Having said that, there isn't any harm in lowering it a bit to see if you like it better!
