    Hey guys,
Anyone who is versed into PRS market who could help me with a ballpark price range for this one ?
I m not a PRS expert by any means and may take it as a part trade to some point. I d like to know what they are "realistically" fetch in the current market .

thanks in advance for any help / input.

Wow...that's a beautiful one!! Looks all original too. For an '88 Custom 24 like that, it would likely go for around $3,000 USD IMHO.

    Thanks for the input Jahawk

All the early PRS I've had in hand were brazilian rosewood boards.
Did they make Ebony option back then as well ?
Any color more desirable to PRS fans than others ?
I was thinking in the 3k to 4500 range myself ?
I used to see them very high before the bubble burst, did it affect the PRS as much as it did for most vintage stuff ?

Vintage yellow with a quilt 10 top and birds is probably the one to have, but yours is very nice.

Yes, the prices of PRS's were affected by the bursting bubble, but not as much as the super high end stuff.

$3000 to $4500 is quite a range. I would estimate in the lower part of that range for your guitar.

$2500 would be more sensible. Older PRS prices are on the way back down for regular guitars.

    thanks,
appreciate all the inputs and info.
It gives me a pretty realistic idea of what I should get it for as a part trade.
