Has anyone put a Bigsby on a PRS? I'm wondering if it would interfere with the pickup selector switch. I've been looking for pictures too, but haven't found any. Those would help too if anyone has any. Thanks!

I've seen Private Stocks with Bigsbys.

    Jon,
Yes, you're right. I was thinking more along the lines of retro-fitting an existing guitar and how the Bigsby would affect the selector switch. Thanks!

    Dave,

Which PRS model do you have in mind?
The Single Cuts shouldn't be a problem, the standards and customs are. The five way pickup selector on those will loose some of its accessibility. The Mc Carthys will be a little odd too regarding the pickup selectors.

    Rene,
I guess I was thinking along the lines of a flat top SE. I should have been more clear. I meant the 3-way toggle, not the 5-way rotary. I don't have the guitar or the Bigsby at this point. I was just kind of plotting and planning. :D It looks like a Bigsby might get in the way of the 3-way, but it's hard to tell for sure.

    Go for it Dave.

    If it makes you happy.

    It's just a guitar!

    Morlll,
I'm not worried about wrecking a guitar or any possible social, political or ethical ramifications. :) I just want to know if the Bigsby will fit without getting in the way of the 3-way toggle switch. I'm guessing no one has tried it or they made the attempt and found out it didn't work. I may just have to bite the bullet and get all the parts together and mock it up. Thanks.
