I have an S2 Mira... One of the better playing guitars I have owned. I'm not sure where the S2 Mira will fit in here after the SE comes out. Its already a bare bones guitar. Will the SE replace it?
Mines been on Reverb for weeks no bites at a pretty fair price too.

I like that PRS is now expanding their import SE line significantly with alot more of their interesting models from the USA line. I am interested to try that Hollowbody. It looks really good. It’s a good thing that they are making some of these guitars a bit more attainable for the guitar buyer who can’t afford thousands of dollars.

WOW! I wonder how much they are. Always wanted an HB but so out of my price range. I love all these guitars lol. Looks like more SE's on the way.

The S2 Mira and S2 Starla were dropped at the end of 2018; I guess this is just PRS's continued taking them downscale/making them more affordable - they were what would become "Core" originally, then they went to S2, and now SE.

I wouldn't mind trying the Hollowbody II. No interest in the others though.

those HBs look really cool, I need to check one out.
in the clips, the maple top sounds better to me - more open and clear.
but this impression might change in person ...
I would be happy to trade the birds against bigger frets though !
anyway, a pleasant surprise, it seems !

The small frets on SE’s are the only place S2’s have an advantage IMO. It’d almost be cost effective to buy one of these SE’s and factor in a refret.

I would pay a few hundred more for an HBII with the piezo system.

ETA: I'm also bummed that the SEs are going to muck up my Reverb feed. A very first-world problem to be certain

Most expensive, the HBII preorder is $1150 with hardcase. Pretty amazing pricing. Rest are under $1k.
