I hope I can unsee that ugly shape. It hurts.I don't really like Eric Johnson, I don't like signature models, and I am not a great fan of PRS either. But this is a guitar I would have bought, if it ever existed.

During the whole Musicman signature guitar introduction period, I think I read that Eddie didn't like carved tops. It would have been interesting to see how far PRS could have gotten with a flat top version of this guitar.Good lord that is fugly.
At least the prototype they did for EVH was a tad better...

Indeed, this was made around the same time. PRS just did a Kramer 5150'ed PRS... I would love to see a flat top version.During the whole Musicman signature guitar introduction period, I think I read that Eddie didn't like carved tops. After the Musicman thing, Peavey came out with the Wolfgang model for EVH that had a carved top. With EVH’s blessing and it was thought of at the time as an upgrade. It was a time consuming, money loss for Peavey. Peavey also put a tone knob on the new guitar which EVH didn’t like. Where did you get the info that EVH didn’t like carved tops? Is that a solid fact?
