Good price but it should be noted these volume pedals have a very bad reputation for reliability. I don't know if fixies were put in place but from what I've read there were some bad design decisions/parts choices that lead them to fail.

Mine has been solid for over a year. The only goofy design decision is not making the bottom flat, kinda awkward to put velcro on it.

I ordered one two years ago, shortly after they came out. It broke within 15 minutes of opening the box. I was sitting down and putting very little pressure on it. Sent it back and the 2nd one broke in a couple of weeks, but inside the return period. Sent it back and swapped for a second Dunlop mini, which is still on my board and working great. Mine is only one of many stories.

    Mine broke immediately.

Avoid. Even for under 40 bucks.

I’ve had no problems with the expression pedal in the same style.....yet, I’ve got 3 and they are still working with the oldest being about 6 months old :dunno

Same experience with the expression pedal, although it sat on my shelf for over a year first, gassing off the warranty. Avoid.

I’m going to play the hell out of mine while the return window is open. Admittedly, I likely would have used it sparingly had I not known its general reputation. I have good luck with not scoring lemons, hopefully my good fortune continues. I appreciate everyone sharing their experience. For the price, it still feels low risk for me.

I've got the expression pedal and it gets heavy use for the last year or so. No problems at all.

Exactly the same experience, really light use (acoustic set, sitting down!!) and 2 broken pedals
Couldnt be happier now with my Dunlop mini!

    Mine's fine so far.

Anyone know how to adjust the tension (so there's a bit more resistance)?

    Maybe that's not possible?

The manual is a bit "light".

I saw quite a few people saying theirs broke, but my Mini Volume is still kicking after two years of use.

I don't think the tension is adjustable. I'm positive I saw a post from @Tom Von Kramm saying you shouldn't touch the screws on the bottom.

This is correct, I even changed the original screws to security screws to prevent tampering.

That would never stop me! I have a screwdriver set with all of the tamper-proof bits.

I have had both the volume and expression pedal for about a year, no problems with either of them.

What is not exactly ‘not six sigma’? I apologize if I’m being obtuse, but I’m having difficulty determining what subject / noun is being referenced in your post. Without a subject or punctuation, I don’t know if you’re making a statement or asking a question, or specifically what you’re referring to. Could you clarify?
