Has anybody mounted a PP2+ and an ISO-5 under their PT-2? I was thinking about getting an ISO-5, but I don't see how I could connect the ISO-5 power supply if it was mounted under the PT-2.

Thanks.

Order a second set of brackets. Mount both underneath. Plug the ISO -5 into the PP2+ aux outlet. Bam!! Might have have make some new holes for the PP2+'s IEC plug if you scoot it over.

The setup sounds great, except I have no clue how to make a hole big enough for the IEC plug. Any suggestions? Just a really big drill bit? :idea

No problem! Don't forget to deburr the inside edges after you cut. Use a file or a Dremel with deburr tip. :)

BTW - why both of these power supplies on one board....the PT2 isn't that big.

My pedal board is below. The ML2 and Klon are running off a power strip, not the PP2+. Also, I have WIIO I'd like to attempt to fit on the board; and the DLS is running on 9V and I'd like to run it off 18V. So that ISO-5 would be a useful addition, I think.

The only pedals running off of batteries on the board are the 1966 and MKII.

Sounds like the right solution then...slide the PP2+ over and install an ISO-5.

PM me if you'd like some help with it. :)

Damn, that's a lot of D*A*M! Nice board, man :aok

Thanks! Although I love all my D*A*M pedals, I have to say that the Red Rooster is my favorite. It plays well with all the others and sounds terrific.

I'll post pics after I complete mods. :knitting

It should fit. The PP2+ is longer but the same width and just 1 millimeter taller. The case screws that are used with the bracket are in the same position as the PP2+.

i dont understand the whole drilling a pilot hole thing though...would a tiny pilot hole from a bit not effect anything??

See how the IEC power cord for the Voodoo Lab PP2+ is feed through the round hole in the back face of the PT Junior? You can slide the PP2+ over a bit and make a new hole for the power cord.

OR I guess you could leave it in place and just install an ISO-5 right next to it. You might stil lneed to drill out some to plug the power cord of the ISO-5 into the aux outlet of the PP2+.

Make sense? :aok

hey there.

i use a PT-2 and have 2 VLPP2+ mounted underneath. jakeddy, here on the forum, cut the additional holes for me and did a fantastic job... and managed to preserve all of the decals and stickers i had on the back. a pic is below of everything i have on my PT-2... and i can also use the 2nd aux outlet to power my sampler/mixing board that sits on a keyboard stand above it.

brim, been eyeing your work sir... fantastic stuff!!!

I finally got around to doing this. I drilled a hole a bit bigger than necessary in order to account for any errors in measurement on my part. This mod can be completed w/o removing or modifying the Pedaltrain sticker (or home-made pirate flags).

I used this hole-saw: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002UKV84/ref=oss_product

I ordered the extra bracket from here: http://www.guitareffectspedals.com/pedaltrainvelcro.html

I'm running everything but the ML-2 (and 1966/MKII) off the PP2/ISO-5. Once I order the proper cable for the ML-2, I'll be running that off the PP2/ISO-5 too.
