I've got one on order (bites nails) and am wondering how you run yours.
What pedals do you use up front?
    Do you play straight in?

I have a funny feeling my pedalboard will need some changing when this amp comes.

    Thanks

    RC

    Here's mine...

Various Strats, LP style guitars --> Tuner --> real Vox Clyde Mccoy wah --> keeley compressor --> Cornish G2/SS3 --> Lovepedal PP800 --> Jetter GSR --> modified Small Fry --> Knon --> Vansamp Sole-mate (reverb) --> amp (Mean Street or Nitro) --> Pure Sixty-Four 1x12 or 2x12.

As you can tell, I'm an OD pedal whore. :D This amp takes pedals so well, I can't make up my mind.

(edit) by the way, it sounds great without all those pedals too. :)

    Guitar>>>>Mean Street Classic 20w>>>>1x12 Cabinet.

Turn the volume up on the amp to 2:30 and ride the volume knob on the guitar...turn it down for sweet cleans, turn it up and burn!

    Who needs pedals?:dude

I found that OD pedals that are on the thicker side (in terms of mids) mate well with the Pure 64. The added mids of the pedal seem to lock in with the amp.

But straight in with the click control can get you quite an array of tones as well.

Effects Chain is Tone Press >>> Carl's Phaser/Univibe >>> Zendrive >>> Eternity Roadhouse >>> ISP Decimator (gate) >>> Meanstreet 1x12 combo, but mostly, I just go clean or use the Zendrive. I also use a Boss TU-2 tuner but it is out of the chain via a PedalBoard Junction box (original version). And sometimes I run with a THD hotplate. BTW, the Fargen MiniPlexII is into a P64 1x12 cab. All home use. There is also a Noisy Cricket into a JDesign 1x12 (neither pictured) in the family room for TV noodling. Doug in CT

my new lve rig, just not a live pic. i will get one up next weekend of it at a show!
thanx again mark for the great tone and feel!
PEOPLE, DON'T FREAK ON THE PEDALS, I HAVE ACTUALLY ONLY BEEN USING THE AMP GAINED OUT WITH THE HONEY BEE FOR KICKING IT OVER THE TOP. THE CORNISH STUFF I ONLY USE IN LOWER VOL. ROOMS WHERE I CAN'T MAX THE AMP, WITH THAT SAID I ONLY USE IT FOR A CLEAN TONE AND THEN THE CORNISH FOR MY GAINS. BUT I STILL PREFER JUST TO MAX THE AMP!
