I really want a 59 reissue strat and am wondering what my options are. I saw an auction on ebay for 2007 '59 reissue. The only other option I can think of is a custom shop but since next year will be the 50th anniversary, do you think fender will release a special reissue?

or you could make like gibson and do yet another '59 LP... but charge an extra few thousand for it because of a stamp behind the headstock.

Actually Fender has a 50th Anniversary George Fullerton Signature 57 Strat. looks cool, comes with a matching Blues Junior Amp and has a street price of $5900-6000. Only 150 made.

    Next Year(this year?) i suppose they'll have a limited edition 1958 Strat.

Probably so. But Gibson has done a better job of clearly marketing different Les Pauls for each year in the 50's. There are so many 50's style Strats out there that it's hard to keep up with everything.
