Question about Dunlop Tort/Jazz 3L, 3M, and 3H picks?

Anyone using Dunlop Tortex Jazz picks? I never tried these but I'm assuming the L, M, and H mean light, medium, and heavy and the 3 means they are Jazz IIIs. What is the exact thickness of the L, M, and H?

I like the feel of EJ Jazz IIIs but not crazy about nylon as it takes off a little too much high end for my tastes unless the guitar is already bright sounding. I think the Tortex Jazz IIIs would be a better fit for me.

I've never seen these L, M, or H designations for a Jazz III. Where did you see them? Maybe it was for one of the recently Jazz III shaped dunlop picks that aren't actually Jazz IIIs. Jazz IIIs were 1.14mm for decades and then they released the 2.0 mm model a year or two ago. The Ultex models are brighter and harder. They last longer and feel a lot better to me.

Maybe I'll try the Ultex as I would like a little more brightness.

I was looking over at Amazon and here are the links to where they are:

http://www.amazon.com/Dunlop-Tortex...=1349818059&sr=1-6&keywords=dunlop+jazz+picks

http://www.amazon.com/Jim-Dunlop-47...=1349818059&sr=1-4&keywords=dunlop+jazz+picks

They may not really be IIIs but they say L3, H3, etc. so I thought they might a variation on the III.

Just picked up the M and L last week. They're Jazz III sized Tortex: http://www.jimdunlop.com/product/tortex-jazz. If you like the regular Tortex red/green/purple, but prefer the Jazz III size, it's a great option.

Thanks for the link. I must have missed them when I checked out the Dunlop site earlier today. I do like the regular green .88s so I think I'll try the Ms as I assume they would be the .88mm size. I really got hooked on the Jazz III size about a year ago. Easy to palm as well. I prefer the tone of Tortex as it's closer to celluloid so these are worth trying.

Those also come in black Tortex with more guage options. The purple H3 Tortex I have measure 1.12mm at the tip while the red/black/ultex ones are ~1.30mm and carbon fiber is 1.37mm.

Thanks for the specs. I'll have to check out the black Tortex picks as well - the more guages to choose from the better. I used to always use celluloid 351s but have been experimenting with different materials/shapes/sizes over the last year or so and have been amazed at the differences in feel and tone.
