My new OCD (V3) has circular screws that protrude outwards, not the regular ones I've seen in other pix . They're a bit of a pain to get off, as you have to twist them w/ your fingers. Wondering if all the new ones have these type screws or just mine? Thanx in advance :)

Did you buy it used? Maybe the last guy that owned it was a battery user and it was easier for him that way.

No, I got it brand new- it's dated 1/08, #16921 signed by Rico. Also, no voltage indicator on the side of the pedal as all others seem to have. Wondering if this might be rumored version 4 although it was advertised as #3...

    Look inside.
The version number will be written right next to the serial number, IIRC.
You probably would have seen that, but did you look around anywhere else inside the pedal?

Looks like an improvement if the screws come off easy .. I am always losing my screwdriver!

Ok- here's a gut shot (bad one at that, but best I could do), no discernable version # just a word, looks like "coup" and the scribble at the top looks like a 5, maybe a three?

Your pictures are both really bad at trying to discern any kind of detail to the things you're talking about.....we need closeups :)

I'd like to have big thumb bolts on mine. Bad flaw in the design when you can't get to the battery and are not using a wall wort/power supply.

I just got a FB-2 in the mail today and it has the same type of screws. I'm betting it's a new Fulltone feature. Haven't tried to get them off yet...
