1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

Since you have a lot of cool stuff, I imagine you own, or at least have tried, an echoczar. Which one would you pick between the echoczar and the TTE? Thanks. :banana

I'm not marko, and I haven't played either, but they are both different types of delay. Analog and tape. I think it more a matter of what type of delay sound you are looking for. I have a feeling marko would pick........both. ; )

Well I have an analog delay already (AD999), so maybe I should just go with the TTE?

Marko's cool, but I don't think he's tried an echoczar I know he's been on the list a while. He'll be around!

I can tell you that theres nothing like tape delay, I have an Ep3

If you have space and want something immediately, a TTE is a pretty good choice. I see the Echoczar as much more convenient though with some cool features that go beyond the scope of a tape echo.

It would be for home recording use.

Wow, way to make a boy feel important- put his name in a thread title :)
Sorry to dissapoint, but I've indeed not tried the famed Echoczar yet. I've been on the list for about two years now, so soon I will let you know, but not yet! :D Sorry!

P.S. Please forgive the lateness of my reply.

I bit the bullet and bought an Echoczar/Angel Baby second-hand and it's been blowing my mind ever since I got it. I was previously using the Diamond ML, which is also a fantastic pedal. I haven't tried the TTE, though. My understanding is that it works best for shorter delays, but I could be wrong.
