Got to the gig last night and the tuner didn't work. Hit the foot pedal and the light comes on a screen goes blank.
Tried again this morning and nothing. Everything else seems to work.
I backed it up and just thought I'd ask before I do a reset.
Has anyone else had this happen. I have the EP-1 pedal hooked up I may pull it and see if it works then.

Does the tuner on the amp screen itself work?

I have not had that happen.

I have the ep-1 as well, however, maybe a bad connection cable causing it do that with he pedal ? Just a thought but not based on any experience with this problem.

Just curious, was your laptop plugged in with USB when this happened ? Had a few glitches with my USB connection, but that's about it..

Update - I swapped the George-L from the pedal to the FS-4 out with a cheap blue one I had hooked up before and now it works.
Don't ask why one works and one doesn't. I tested the George-L and it's fully functional. I understand it's not a guitar signal going thru it.
It is working. Now I'm worried.

Some cables have 1/4" plugs that have slightly shorter shafts than others & might not quite make tip contact in some jacks. The cable is fine & will work in a lot of things, but not in a few others. I have a couple like that.
That might be what's going on.
Also the way the jack is deeply recessed in the FS4 makes it hard to use some right angle plugs & make good contact.

It's funny because it worked fine as a volume pedal. Just the turner didn't work.

No, I was at a gig. That is what was so frustrating. Took the turner out of my bag. Didn't need it. I may wind up ditching the EP, I don't like it.
I have some time to work with it before the next gig.

So if you put the George L cable back in will it repeat the Issue?

I use all 3 pedals my self with zero issues, I use a cheap Hosa 6" patch cable from the EXP-1 to my MS4. I dont care for George L anymore I have a stash of them around but prefer soldered connections
