I was looking at the custom bluesmaster 59 on the JG site and it sure looks like one astonishing guitar.

any of you own one of these and can put up a real world photograph of one, id also love to hear some clippage that illustrates how these thing sustain and how notes just bloom , finally , what is a ball park figure price for one of these guitars.

    thanks

    Jimmy

5,000 euros. i'm sure charles daughtry will drop in. he has a few comparable guitars built by gibson in 1958-59.

That thing just kills. I need fewer strings than six if anything though:crazy

What would be your estimate of the weight of the guitar pictured? The one shown of the JG site (that you're holding) looks large and heavy. This one does not look overly large at all.

If you have the money, go ahead and buy a JG. I find it really, really hard to spend $6000 on a guitar. But this one of the few guitars out there on the high end market that keeps appreciating in value. And JG's are one of the best looking modern stlye guitars out there, IMO. I put it right out there with a strat, tele, and a 'paul.

    RV,

You've got one of the best looking JG's out there. The shaded color on that one is quite stunning.

Unbelievably gorgeous guitar-I need one of those bad. What is the color called on that one and what are the specs, electronics, pickups, etc?

    Tall Guy,
They are, without a doubt, the premier guitar of this generation. Johan, IMHO, is without peer. These guitars instantly feel "old." The tone, harmonics and complexity of this guitar is unbelievable. It's like Johan has found a time machine back to the late 50's....:dude

The wait in the US is forever. Any idea if/where I can pick one up in Europe? How about taxes when bringing it back in?

    Thanks!
