I can't comment on the first, but the second item there (the 1 spot positive tip adapter) is nearly exactly what I use on my Rat 2 with no issues.

You could also have a good tech install a Boss-type barrel plug in your Rat. I had one done for US$25.

^True. I do that as part of my mod for this pedal.

Yes, you need to make sure the tip on the 1/8" (3.5mm) plug is positive, for the RAT. That plug converter seems risky - the description doesn't say, but it probably just connects the center pin to the tip of the plug, and the barrel to the sleeve. That means you'd have to use a reverse polarity cable from the PP2 to get the correct polarity for the RAT - far too many things to go wrong, IMO. I'll join in with what the others suggested. Either get the 1spot 3.5mm converter, or the correct cable from Voodoo Lab (they usually ship at least one with their power supplies, btw).

The 1/8" plug that is in the PP2 is correct for the Rat and old DOD pedals.

Thanks all, I'll get the longer adaptor, sadly the one that came with the PP2 disappeared long ago.
