My friend is going through a divorce and has to provide info to determine the value of his business. He has been asked for a flash drive with the last 5 years worth of data from his QuickBooks Pro 2006 ( I know it's ancient).

When he tries to get the data, he can't find an option to limit it to just 5 years, the program seems to want to dump all info from the beginning.

Does anyone know how to set this for just 5 years?

    Thanks

You can certainly do this. We "restarted"our company database one year, just to get rid of the old stuff. Make a copy, and have him call intuit, or search their knowledge base.
