Quieter Tweed Bassman Please

Quieter Tweed Bassman Please I am looking for an amp to get that classic Tweed Bassman sound but in a much quieter package. I love the cranked Bassman bluesy sound, but at 45 watts it's not practical for my needs. I could always use an attenuator but I hear that they degrade the sound and it's more gear to carry around. What is out there that would accommodate this?

Thanks!

Kendrick Badassman with power attenuator. Better than any bassman that I have played. You can get the power down to 11.5 watts and to 2.8 watts approximately. It still sounds good even at the maximum setting. Awesome amp sporting two great channels and it has a phenomenal reverb too. Highly recommended.

Contact Jim at Li'l Dawg. He can build you one however you want and it's cheaper than buying a Fender Bassman Reissue new.
I got one from him last year too. Hand wired, customized with different transformer, speakers and even a different color pilot light ;)

Have someone build you a 5E4-A 6V6 Tweed Super, what an awesome sounding amp! I have an original '59 Bassman, and the 5E4-A has the 59's complex cleans as well as its roar when cranked, but at 10-12 watts (..I have 350V at the plates). It is such an all-around sweet-sounding amp.

I had this guy build mine, excellent work, and the price is right:

I just got a Victoria Ivy League, 14 watts, 1-10" combo. It was described a little Bassman, and I agree. Listen to the youtube clip of it on the Victoria Amplifier channel. Plus its about 25 lb.'s, cant beat that.
Its just volume and tone, so it doesn't have the full tone stack. But I love it anyway.

Check out Faustine Amplifiers. They do Tweed amps with built in attenuators.

I hear a 5f4 is like a smaller 59 bassman. I went to a 55 pro 5e5a, but want a 5f4 also one day. The Pro I can play at home or in a gym.
