    Hey all,

I've got a '06 R7 that has been on the road for two years and is showing the wear.

I'd like to get it restored. The back is badly buckle-rashed, the top has a couple of chips in the gold to the wood, there is a dent in the neck/headstock joint and the neck itself has some dings. It was refretted, so there's no problem there.

How much do restorations usually run? Where is the best place to send it?

    Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't restore it. You'll spend $500+ and the guitar will be worth way less because it's a refin. Consider the wear as "relicing."

I may have to disagree with you on this. Considering it is a new guitar the refin could help it preserve its value. If it were truly vintage (pre 1970) I would advise no refin, but RS Guitarworks and Historic Makeovers do some fantastic work.
I'd contact them for a quote on the price, however.
