Andy Fuchs just built a custom rack unit for me. The dimensions of the rack unit are such that it fits and sits perfectly between the head and cab.

    Amp: FUCHS ODS 50
    cab: 1x12 w/1265

    In Rack
    1) furman Power conditioner
    2) Rolls Rack mixer
    3) Eventide Eclipse
    4) Peterson Rack Strobo Tuner

    On the floor (not pictured)
    1) All Access floor Controller
    2) rocktron Hex Expression Pedal
    3) Gig-Efx Mega wah

I am going to run the unit wet/dry with 2 JBL Eons 10 inch Power Speakers.

Looks great ! That was my idea when I built my small custom rack at home. Do you have a picture showing the side of your gig ? I would like to get some ideas of how your setup looks from the side because I am now building a bigger version of my rack system (Eventide Eclipse is arriving tomorrow :)

A few years ago. We ran everything direct for consistency and simplicity. Went back to pedals, but I'm thinking of putting them in a rack with a switching system.

I'll take a side picture later today.

The Eclipse is unbelievable. I have gone through most name multi-effects units and always ended up dumping them and going back pedals --- not this time.

The delays, verbs, chorus -- basically everything sounds great on the Eclipse. It is also amazing how much your tone improves when you eliminate a dozen or so pedals from the signal chain and are just playing the amp with effects either going through the loop or being miked.

Thanks for this feedback. That was exactly what I was looking for when I decided to buy the Eclipse.

Laz, I love the color scheme!! Does that mean your gettin a new trailor trash in that color now as well?? ;) .. Are you using pedals anymore or just the wah, and foot controler, which I assume also controls the channel switching on the fuchs??

Still have my Trailer Trash Board -- it has been relegated to rehearsals and for lazy outings :roll

Actually for right now it is what I am taking out until I program the All Acess floor module....but I will use it much less.

The change in tone is amazing (and I have a top end board professionally wired) when you eliminate a large number of boxes from the signal chain.

Also the Eclipse is just off the hook --- studio quality all the way -- no tone drain --- no noise ---- and the Fuchs OD station just sounds spectacular with the Eclipse in the loop.

I held out buying an Eclipse because of the price --- but when one became available on the emporium at a very reasonable price (for basically a new unit) I jumped on it...... best thing I did ----

besides getting my new Fuchs in Marshall green :D

I don't have rack mount amps but Ive just finished putting an effects/general rack together. GCX or similar to add plus maybe a wireless system, I'd love a rack wah but there just crazy money.

Yes, very nice gear in this place. I agree w/ you- I love my pedals in the rig, they add a certain spice that is nice.
