I have a top end Audio Technica wireless (3000 series) which works great except for the change in tone going from a cable. It's hard to get me to use it. I just acquired a Radial Dragster and have spent the last couple of weeks testing it out. I'm going from the guitar into the dragster then into the transmitter. I have to say it's pretty damn effective. I can get 95% of my cable tone with it. Band mates can tell the difference. I can but it's right there with the cable. "almost" exactly the same tone and feel. I would like to see one of the wireless companies incorporate Radial's Drag Control into their bodypack/transmitter. Or something like it since it's really only a pot and resistor.(I think). I realize I could probably "build" a dragster cheaper than purchasing one but I don't think I want to spend the time and whatever resources for $50. Whatever the Dragster is, it works!
