Randy Rhoads, VH and Boston tone matches

Before the peanut gallery says it, these are close enough for me. Someone is going to say the VH isn't chewy enough or the Boston one has too much gain or the Ozzy one isn't as effected, etc. I still think they will work great for my cover bands. Just thought I'd share. :)

Forgot to mention, the Ozzy and Boston are 1/2 step down, because one of the bands tunes down. one of the most important things you can do on a tone match is use a guitar just like the one you are matching, otherwise it's not going to be as close. I used a Tom Anderson drop top w/floyd, if I played this profile with a Les Paul it's not going to work as well.

Sounds great to me. The levels are a little lower on the matches as far as comparing the 2, but sound good otherwise.

The VH was the closest IMO. However, as you pointed out, they are working out for you and that's all that matters ;)
