The first Gibson Lonnie Mack Flying V made for retail sale.

I paid $750.00 + $100.00 for the case way back around the Christmass of 1993.

A Norlin Gibson Les Paul Model 58...........

My guitar buddies told me that I paid too much at $750.00 for this in the early 90's.

1979 Schecter production guitar from the original Van Nuys shop. Serial number is less than 25 numbers away from Pete Townshend's black Schecter in the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame. 100% original and exceptionally clean.

That is sooooo sweet!

I had a really killer Texas era Schecter Strat (Mercury with Lawsuit headstock) I picked up at a guitar show in the early 90s. Sold it off in the mid 90s and have regretted it ever since the early '00s when I realized what I had.

Not sure what the OP's looking for with rare, but this Fender Jason Davis Masterbuilt Koa & Ash Tele & Strat set of one-offs has a rare feature I think for Fender with the necks being Koa:

have some other one-offs, so if that is considered rare then here is another - Koll Ultra Glide (think there are only about ten Ultra Glides out there)

This is a 10 string version of the Schecter Hellcat. It is a final prototype and the only one in existence, I believe, as it was never put into production. Like a fool I sold it.

I don't have any cool vintage rarities, but I have a few modern ones you won't see very often or ever again.

(1) Might have the only ESP Snapper with sparkle and mirror pickguard.
(2) Pretty limited production of the H with dagger inlays and stopped making this camo guitar.
(3) Not high value, but this 2002 RG 620 QM is actually very rare, made 1 year and not even in the US or Asia catalogues.
(4) I have seen very few Kandy Tangerine Pearl Strats that are not relic custom shop, especial Kandy Tangerine HSSs.

Well, not really rare, just uncommon I think. 2018 Gibson Les Paul Classic with P90s, a one year run. They are really a variation of the “new Standards“ that came along in 2019- Non weight relieved, 60s neck, orange drops, etc. Great take on the LP.
