I thought I'd share this description of this pedal (which I don't own) but the LED description is amazingly cool ...blue...purple...pink...red...
Does anybody else know of this "changing LED" design incorporated on other pedals? (BYOC Tri-Boost comes to mind)

Some of the Behringer pedals have leds that switch between blue and red (when you use a special function like tap tempo), I think the Multivox Big Jam pedals had leds that are green/red to show they're switched on (so you can see if the battery is ok when it's off), the Percussa Audio Cubes (no pedals but cool too ;)) use LED's to give light and change colors (programmable),...

These are $500. That seems like too much. Am I missing something?

I think all of Colorsound's stuff is pretty expensive...no exception here!

Pedals are handmade in the UK so the exchange rate makes everything even more expensive than usual dolllarwise.
