Owned since new by a non-electric playing friend for no good reason. This is not my guitar nor am I considering making it so but was asked to check it out as he may want to sell.

Fender CS 1954 40th anniversery #7 of 20, made 1994, never out of the case except to photo which I do not have, has never been played.
Finished in Sea Foam Green with matching headstock ( never available in the 1950's )
Neck plate says " RB Classic Series ". CS logo back of peghead.
50's neck profile, maple, but laminated pearloid pu cover and trem cavity back ( not period correct )

Now what was told to me is that only one (1) SFG was made in the custom shop run of 20 guitars in the 40th anniv's and this is it. I have no idea as I don't bother with the collectibles market. It is in mint condition, all case candy and COA and it's 50's replica tweed hard case.

Any thoughts on current value or who might be know something about this piece ?

    thanks in advance.

My time is worthless and my life meaningless.

And you have no sense of humor.

OK: I concur again but with the later post: 2 grand seems right.
