Hard to see much on there, but sure could be a bandmaster.

Love Bloomfield, but man, that performance is pretty rough.

Yeah, that tone really sucks. It sounded like a bad Tele. Sometimes a recording can take it all away...

The amp was a 1962 Blond Bandmaster and matching 2x12 cab, which Mike frequently used with Mike Bloomfield and Friends for gigs around San Francisco. The video was a tribute to Muddy Waters called "Chicago Blues Summit" which was originally shown as a documentary on PBS’ Soundstage program. It was recorded in July 1974 in Chicago. The musicians included Muddy Waters, Dr. John, Johnny Winter, Buddy Miles, Junior Wells, Willie Dixon, Nick Gravenites, Buddy Miles, and KoKo Taylor. You can occasionally get a bootleg VHS tape or DVD of it on eBay. The video and audio quality of the original video is much better than the Youtube clip.

I saw Mike with the Electric Flag in Boston. He was playing a sunburst Paul through 4 Twin Reverbs. The whole band sounded great!

Wow. What a 'stache! I didn't know John Holmes played guitar! :)

Sorry, couldn't resis making fun of the 70's facial hair cliches, even if I did offend someone's religion.
