    I used to frequent thrift stores quite a bit up through the '90s and found some really nice deals. But nothing like that! Sheesh. Of course now every thrift store in America will suddenly be frequented by treasure hunters!

    I've been to that store many times; it's right by my office. He's gonna get a phat tax bill for opening his mouth about this.

    Thrift stores used to be a good place to pick up vintage hi-fi gear, but a buddy who does collectibles for a living told me that they just dumpster it now...

    Heartbreaking to see some of that stuff just vanish.
