That was an interesting interview. I just caught the last few minutes where Ray was asked about Shawn Lane's cover of West Side Boogie and he detailed how he was not especially thrilled by the cover which he deemed imitative and bemoaning the lack of people like Narada Michael Walden (all sounds on Lane's track were programmed/played by Lane).
