Really Considering Mini Recto, Need a Cabinet Suggestion

So I've been toying with the idea of running a new setup and my thoughts have bounced between the Mini Recto and the EVH 5150 III 50 watt. I'm seriously considering the Mini Recto and I already have a Recto 2x12 cab that I've had for a few years. I'd like to run maybe an open back or ported 2x12 cab in parallel with it. What would be a match with the sealed Recto cab? THD? Dr Z Z-Best? Something else? It needs to be an 8 0hm cab since the Recto is 8 ohm.

Actually, the Mini Recto cab designed for the amp sounds fantastic on its own, so you should be good to go with just the 2x12 IMO since its basically the same concept. If you're really set on an Open Back/Closed Back cab, why not partition off half of the 2x12 Recto cab you've already got? You could do it to where it's completely reversible too.

IDK....If it were me, I'd just wait until after you get the Mini and pair it up with your 2x12 and see how you like it. I run mine with the Mini Rec cab, and it sounds fantastic.
