    Was hoping it was a pre-war Martin...then it’d be worth a shot.

Apprenticing Luthiers might want it. There is a lot to learn
with that guitar - not to mention that upon reconstruction
the bracing could be improved - the shape of the neck
enhanced - and best of all - there would be some ginormous
    skill sets afterwards.

The tuners might be worth something too.

Good point...you can practice a neck reset, refret, among other things

Still amazed though that somebody wants money for that instead of just donating to the cause

Never heard the burn barrel referred to as "the cause" before.

See. If ya don't wear shoes in the house that becomes less likely an event.

I bought an unplayable HD-28 awhile back; they said the neck was wrecked and it was only good for hanging on the wall. Actually the bridge had split through and it just needed a new bridge & underplate. The neck was fine & it's now a great guitar.

Not saying that could be the case with this one, just recalling a "wall decoration" that turned out to be not just reclaimable but wonderful.

A fret level, and it will be as good as new.

I have a Guild 12 string body, with no neck, that someone pierced with multiple arrows. Maybe there is a marriage there somehow.

An instrument smash provides the definite finale. Everyone needs a trashed guitar, a symbol of pure sheer fun! :nuts :dude :spank

    A black acoustic.

I hear he rented it from the Gibson museum for the shoot.
