As much as I love pedals, I passionately hate mass rewirings....

I rebuilt my board a few months back and honestly almost threw it out the window....all the cable routing, cable labeling, cutting new patch cables, etc isn't my thing.

That's why I kept that huge ugly boat anchor SKB Stage Five - so I could do my ordering and experimenting on that one and not my main Creation Streamliner board.

I still have Legos from the early 80's. Oh and I love fiddle farting around with my board too!

I heard the economy is so bad that the Lego company is moving their whole operation to Mexico. The employees are blaming themselves for making the building to easy to tear down and rebuild.

My son (who is almost 4) watched me rewire my entire board a couple months ago.

A few days later, we were having a family movie night and he was playing with his Legos on the living room floor.

He had built something very familiar on a toy that's made out of plywood and latches (it teaches kids about locks), and arranged his Legos on it in a perfectly square, Tetris-like fashion.

    "Look, Daddy, it's pedals!"

So awesome. I was unbelievably proud.

    ------

On the other hand, a Lego in the foot while walking in the dark...not so awesome. :p

Why do Americans say "Legos" it's just Lego, single and plural.

Holy ****! That gives me a great idea! Make pedals that attach to pedal boards like Legos! They'll stay put when you want them to, but will move pretty easily when you want to! Dibs on the idea.

Wow, really odd thing to wonder (worry?) about.

Because the company is "Lego" and the objects you play with are "Legos." FWIW My family is 1/2 English (UK) and 1/2 American... Both sides of family say the same thing.

    Tomato tomato.
