Rechargable battery for Samson Expedition

    Anyone knows what battery I need for a Samson Expedition Express speaker. I know it's a sealed lead-acid gel cell, but not sure if : 12v-5ah...or what . thanx

    ....seems to be a 2.2ah....any problem if I conect a higher ah batt ??

    As long as voltages are the same, you are ok. The higher ah batteries are usually larger.

    As long as the voltage is right and it'll fit you'll be fine.

    Sealed Lead Acid batteries give the longest service life if you keep them fully charged and avoid deep discharges. So always keep it topped up and ready to go/gig.

    If not printed somewhere on the body (maybe it has some cryptic code or label which includes such data), please measure it and post the size, that helps a lot.

    Lead Acid technology is old and offers no surprises, they all can pack "so many AH into so many cubic inches" so measuring it will give a rough idea of its capacity, by comparing it to others.

    A picture would also help.

    I am amazed that they claim 15H life, "30W" output and just a small battery.
