1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

Making a parts order to get some pots to fix an amp and I just picked up a DS-1 that i want to mod. Wondering what Do it Yourself mods people like. I want to get the parts in on this order....

I mainly want it to be smoother and more open sounding. Is it possible to do the Keeley mod yourself?

    There's a Frusciante mod for the DS-2 :

R57 3.3k adds gain and a bit of compression
    C28 a parallel 1k resistor
    C28 0.1uf
    D8 1n4001
    D9 1n4001 X2 (not parallel)
    D15 LED
    D11 LED

In looking at the questions...it sounds like there are alot of misprints on the webpage. I dont know if I have that actual magazine anymore. I shoudl go check.

Not sure if I want to tackle it if its wrong...

Great magazine by the way. My favorite.
