Recommend an Eminence for a 1-12 Cab?

What would be the biggest, fattest, loudest of the Eminence bunch for my 1-12 semi-open back homebrew cabinet (used with a THD Bi-valve)? I currently have a Cannibus Rex in there that rocks pretty good, but it (and another CR) will be going into a Bob Burt v2-12 cabinet that I am ordering. Also, what Eminence sounds good at low volumes as well?

    Oops! Cannabis, not Cannibus!

I am really digging the Wizard I got today. Using it with my Dr. Z 6545 it give a brighter sound then the V30 I was using. With my Fuchs is give a much better clean and gain sound. The High gain is much clearer.

The Wizard sounds great at low volume, and has a chunky bottom end. Hard to get fatter than the Rex, but I would say that the Wiz is punchier and a little louder.

The Wizard sounds better to me then the Hellatone 60 (avatar broken in V30) at low volumes. It has a smoother mid range, a crisp clear top end, and a very punchy bass.

Has anyone compared the Wizard to the 65 watt Scumback?

Tonespotter is cool, Wizard is VERY cool. After watching a Steelbender clip of Eddie Berman with 1x12 Two Rock cab housing a Tonespotter, I thought that'd be it for sure. Once I got a chance to A/B them, very surprisingly I favor the Wizard - fuller, tighter bottom end. Amazing, but it just plain sounds bigger. It's probably personal taste, like I said, the Tonespotter is cool as well.
    Your milage may vary...

    peace,

I got my Fuchs SLX 50 with a Wizard, changed to the Tonespotter- went back to the Wizard. Very similar, but the Wizard seems to hold together better on the bottom end and sound a little bigger. Both are very good speakers, but I found that I missed the Wizard. Yes- I play at gig volume, but it also sounds very good at studio levels with the master down. :AOK

I have an open back 2x12 loaded with Emi GB-12's and I love it. I can't speak to a 1x12 though.

I have my GB12 in a 1x12 and I think it's awesome. Really balanced, with a great character that's hard to define. It might not meet the criteria of "bigger, fatter, louder" as well as the Rex and Wizard (though it's close), but it's an awesome speaker in it's own right, and has a pretty big sound to boot.

Hard to go wrong there, methinks.

    Very, very, very loud. :)

Sound great, just as versatile as when quieter. My X100b through a 2x12 with them...day-umm. :dude

Hey Boogs, can you speak more to what difference there is in a GB12 as compared to the C Rex? The GB12 is a speaker I've been really curious about for awhile...
