I'm looking for a pedal that can take my UG30 to blackface levels. maybe an EQ? Maybe the Lovepedal Super 6? Any other ideas?

I have no experience with this one, but it claims to do just that, the Guitar Works 19SIXTY3:

And then there is the LOVEPEDAL Super 6 that you mentioned:

I've got one coming, so I can report back when it arrives.

    I have a Barb EQ. I had a Boss FDR-1.

The Barb EQ is great. The FDR-1 is garbage, IMO.

+1 on the BarbEq. Does an great job of lending a blackface like voicing.

Turn your bass and treble controls on the amp both to 3:00 or so. The tone gets much more blackface-ish.
Add Red Snapper for OD at lower volume).

I've never played one, but for a pedal that is supposed to sound exactly like a '65 Deluxe Reverb, I am surprised to hear some of the above comments. Should Boss be sued for making false claims? :)

Hey, don't take my word for it. Pick one up, give it a whirl, tell us what you think. :)

That's a shame that it doesn't measure up. I would like to try one for myself. I'm curious, though, what guitars people have used. The Boss demo (using an SSS Strat) sounds quite good: http://youtube.com/watch?v=U3Z_OW9isyA. Of course it helps that they got someone who's style matches the pedal as opposed to a 80's shredder. ;)
