Recommend me a good octavia fuzz

I've owned a bunch and I always come back to the Fulltone UO. It is consistent and really cuts live. The switchable octave is a nice bonus.

I'm interested in that one too, but I can't find a good demo... expecially of the fuzz only side... so many of these octave/fuzzes have waaaay too much bass when used as a fuzz only... maybe people like that, but it ain't my thing.

I see Jonny Lang is rockin' one (UO) for the Experience Hendrix tour.

The Chicago Iron is the best I've tried for Octavia-style octave up; I just grabbed another one off of ebay. I should have never sold mine years ago.

I am also a fan of the Ultimate Octave, and it's very competent fuzz. I don't think it sounds like an Octavia though.

the TC had a much wider range of usable sounds. also, it sounded better to me. the overtones of the dunlop (transformer) octavio differed somewhat from the mayer (transfomerless) octavias), making it more flexible
