Been to amp hell and back trying and selling all sorts looking for my tone.
I've just bought an Okko Diablo+ pedal to help achieve the drive sound I'm looking for and now want to find a suitable tube amp to go with it. (I'm using a Tech 21 Trademark 30 just as a holding amp until I can find what I'm looking for)
I want a current production tube amp with good clean headroom and either 1x12 or 2x10. I can't afford a Two Rock (although they are ideal).
I don't need a 2nd channel for drive as I will use the Okko
What would you recommend in the $1000-$1500 range?
I'm keen on the DRRI but worried it may not have the clean headroom.
