Getting a bit tired of my current drive setup and fancy a change, anyone wanna give me some ideas?

I play in an indie band with math, electro and dream pop influences - think Foals, M83, Talking Heads, Cocteau Twins, The Maccabees, Wild Beasts.

I mostly play clean with some reverb and use the drives for some leads and heavier sections.

At the moment I have a Klon which I use as a gritty boost which I love so that is staying.

Also a Tube Screamer - I find this a bit smooth sounding, I want something with more character so I was thinking a Honey Bee. This would be my main drive.

DAM Sonic Titan - I really like this pedal but I don't use it very often so I was thinking some sort of fuzz, maybe a self oscillating one, something with a bit more character.

For tubescreamer I really like the OD820 for smooth sounds. Could be used as a clean boost too.

I think the problem I have with the Tube Screamer is it sounds a bit too smooth I want something with a bit more character if that makes sense?

Maybe the Maxon Od 808.. But I think it's still quite smooth.
Maybe the Fulltone OCD which is a little bit more gritty

Haha, those are the only 3 overdrives I've had.
My bandmate has a Visual Sound Open Road which sounds really good to me too.

Maybe some things to look into:
    BB Preamp
Visual Sound Route 66 or Open Road
    MXR Custom Badass

Smallsound/Bigsound Mini or Catalinbread Karma Suture. Check out the Uber Bee if you want to go the Bee route.

This. Or really anything from smallsound/bigsound. Great tones and Brian is excellent to work with!

Oh yeah, I can second the comment about Brian too. Great guy (keyboardist for Cymbals Eat Guitars to boot!).

What amp are you running? For something with character, I find the Skreddy Screwdriver to really have its own great thing going on, and can get fuzzy as well

VFE triumvirate. As thin or as bright as you want to dial it in, goes into very fuzzy distortion and even oscillations at extreme settings. Also works great as dirty EQ after other pedals to make them sound like something totally different.
