Just wondering what's out there. I prefer to keep the price under $125 if possible. I have an RB Continental for my 175 and it's great but unless I find a used 335 RB Continental for that price, I'll probably settle for something cheaper.

Not interested in discussing the merits of carrying a semihollow in a gigbag so please refrain from that particular soapbox.

Dunno, really. But what's wrong with a gig bag and a hollow body?

It's awfully risky, especially if you are taking it to a gig, where people might accidentally step on, or pile stuff on top of it in the dark.

I trust a Mono Vertigo with my Gibson solid bodies.

I think you have to have a neck bracing system for Gibsons, semihollow or not. The RB Continental does have one, right?

I was lucky and got my Mono M80 semihollow case for around your price during one of their sales, and a few years ago, I don't think it would be that close today even on sale. I carry my 335 and my 330 in it. But right now, I don't think a bag with a bracing setup would be too easy to find for that price. If someone knows of one, that would great.

I have lugged around a 70's 335 in a gig bag for years... It has the thinnest neck you will ever see. If you don't throw it down a flight of stairs it will be fine. I use an Ultimate Support gig bag

I love my Mooradian gig bags! good enough for Mike stern, Ron Carter (both long time users) and symphonies across the nation.

Reunion Blues makes a pretty robust gig bag.

I've been using an inexpensive ($40) Profile bag, with my Ibanez semi-hollow. I have used it playing out one to two times a week, for the past year and a half.
