I need to get an A/B box to switch from channel 1 and 2 on my plexi - any recommendations?

I'd recommend NOT using an A/B box, but using a short instrument cable to go from one channel to the second and mix the in that way. At least with my experiences, the treble and bass tones were just too different to A/B the amp into a two channel amp- instead, I mixed the two at once and got the best of both channels into one.

Rapco makes a good, effective, and affordable A/B box.

Thanks for the suggestion. My amp is actually modified to make the 2 channels usable each on it's own. I'll check out the rapco, thanks again!

Reinhardt "Hitman" AB/Y pedal with a built in boost. Perfect. It's not on Bob's website so you'll need to call or email him.

yeah, the boost part bothers me. I'm looking for the most transparent thing because I love the way the amp sounds.

Boost is footswitchable and you can leave it off if desired. Adds a nice clean boost up to about 1:00 o'clock and a bit of grit after that. It's a great pedal.

Damn that Reinhardt pedal looks cool! I just picked up an ABY from Startouch that is also well made, bright LEDs, just a passive box...my amps channels (old TopHat Embassy with brown Fender and AC30 channels) must be out of phase though because the Y setting sounds crappy. I may need to get one with optional phase reversal if I want to combine channels, but the only simple, affordable one I saw that had that (Headshot) didn't have LEDs...

    Here's the one I got:

Try a Barber Launch Pad at a store if you're able to .. his box sorts out
the phase issue; or so I've read.

I use the Framptone switcher and it it is great. It is very well built and works very well in every application I try it with including my 1987x and an RSA 23.

I use a A/B switcher that L.A. Sound Design built for me.

I had one of those Reinhardt Hitman pedals and it was pretty cool. My favorite part of it was the boost. I ended up using an abcd looper to switch between inputs on my Vintage 50.
