I'm replacing filter caps on an old Bogen CHA-33 PA head, and I plan to just disconnect the cap cans and glue replacement caps to the underside of the cans. I'm doing this because I want to save cash (cans are expensive) and alleviate the need to drill the chassis. What adhesive would you guys recommend to hold them securely given the potentially high temps inside the chassis?

Automotive gasket sealer resists high temperatures that an engine block sees and is sticky to metal. You can get it at most auto supply stores.

High Temp RTV works great and can be found in any auto parts store.

Thanks for the replies. I'll head to the auto parts store to see what they have.

RTV worked in my last repair. You don't need much and you can remove, albeit with difficulty, in the future if required.
