Recording audio from online clips

Hi

Does anyone know how to record the audio from an online video clip? I know some websites allow it by simply putting the link and it turns it to mp3. I want to record it as a WAV file and I don't mind simply letting the clip run and record.

I have a Roland Quad Capture sound card and a few programs. I haven't found how to get any program to capture the audio that the computer is playing. Maybe I can connect a cable from the output of the sound card(currently connected to monitors) to the input, but I don't know, maybe this will create a weird loop? I assume there must be a pretty simple way to do that with software only?

If you're on a Mac you can use Soundflower to reroute any audio inside the computer. It's free. Not sure about windows.

Protube if you're referring to youtube video clips. Allows you to strip an mp3 from the video and save, or save the whole video. I use it on my iphone/ipad. It also allows you to email the file once it's saved. (Must be jailbroken though)

I use Windows.

I can already save the audio as mp3, that's not a problem. I want to save or record it as a WAV file.
