Howdy,

What are some options for adding drums to you songs if you aren't a drummer?

I currently use GarageBand but am thinking about moving to Logic.

Just curious what you guys are doing as solo artists.

Hire a drummer! Tons of pros have their own recording rigs now. You can get killer tracks for anywhere from $50 to $150 these days.

I have always used samples of drum loops on cd from companies like drums on demand and beta monkey. They are libraries of well-recorded 4,8,16 bar sections you can search through and cut and paste together in your recording software (I use ACID). A little time consuming but good results and easy learning curve.

I recently bought EZ drummer because I have read great things about it. I don't have it up and running yet, but will soon.
