Recording Vocals, need recomendations for a Mic

    I'm fairly new at recording tracks, that said I'm looking into vocal mics. I use a SM58 for live work but would like to try some other types of mics for recording. I'm looking for a mic that is sensative and can pick up breathy nuances as well as handle pretty broad dynamics. I think I want a ribbon mic or maybe a tube mic but really that's only a guess. Any thoughts and or recommendations from this group are greatly appreciated.

    hi, i bought a rode ntk for my studio and its great, i also use it to record guitars too as long as the volume isnt too loud,
    i record through a behringer tube pre amp im happy with the vocals and guitars i record

    Audio Technica 4033 is a good choice that won't break the bank.
