Rectifier for a 66 Pro Reverb

Hi everybody!

Yesterday swapping speakers and making sound tests i discover that my Pro has a 5V4G Rectifier tube and just seen that its not appropiate for this amp.

I cant remember if my tech place that one there some months ago(he also had a GZ34 mullard) but anyway the amp really SINGS and is a very warm amp,even with my Nachocaster 52 tele.

Would like to know what you folks run in your Pros and if anyway can give me a little info about it to know the differences for future problems i could have..... much appreciated!! of course something that works and sounds great better not to touch...

somewhere read that with a GZ34 is more agressive. I will post all my NOS tubes testing here when finished in case could help anybody..

^^^ Yes! Since you're in Europe, I'd recommend trying to find a NOS GZ34 - Mullard, Amperex, Bugle Boy, etc.

I have tested a few GZ34 in my Pro.
The old Mullard does the magic.
