The GZ34 rectifier tube on my amp continually loosens up, resulting in the sound cutting out. Does anyone know of a source for retainer clips for rectifier tubes? (I've searched quite a few of the parts sites to no avail.) Otherwise, any suggestions for a workable improvised solution?

    Thanks.

If it's not riveted in, it will be simple to install a standard "bear-claw" tube retainer.

    I have them for $3.50

Thanks, it looks like a single metal screw is placed next to the socket on
the outside of the chassis. I tightended this and things seem better.
Still, a clamp may be a good idea. I'll check out your site.

Thanks for the kind words, TheAmpNerd ! (I really try to take care of folks.)

Skrzyp, retainers are highly recommended. I install regulary in Fenders that don't have them.
